Keeping the tents cool

Brian Jarvis, U.S. Air Forces Central Command Energy Manager, along with Robert DeRuyter, 379th Expeditionary Civil Engineering Squadron air conditioning service technician, inspect an environmental control unit used to cool transient personnel tents at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia on Sept. 29, 2011. Jarvis is exploring the possibility of being able to reduce the number of ECUs by one third simply by making the remaining units run more efficiently. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sergeant Gary J.
