Staff from the Mandel School were presented with new backpacks and other school supplies May 12 for school students.The donations were from individual volunteers stateside. Airmen from the 838th Air Expeditionary Advisory Group worked in conjunction with coalition partners and Afghan allies to help open the school in the village of Mandel located Southwest of Shindand in the Herat Province.
