Staff Sgt. Eugene Hunter tests fiber optic cable with a power meter, March 2, 2011, at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. Sergeant Hunter shines light down the cable and tests the brightness at the other end. If the cable retains the intensity of the light it is serviceable.
