KIRKUK REGIONAL AIR BASE, Iraq -- An Iraqi Air Force air traffic controller directs air traffic at the tower Feb. 9. IqAF trainees must log more than 90 hours of on-the-job training before taking their certification exam and applying for their Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority license.
