SOUTHWEST ASIA - Tech. Sgt. Deven Gates, Equal Opportunity Program manager for the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing, surfs the Internet Dec. 17, 2010, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. Sergeant Gates makes frequent use of DAWGnet, an Air Force-provisioned wireless morale network, to conduct video-chat sessions with her husband and children in the United States. The popular network offers free commercial Internet access to more than 2,000 U.S. Service members and civilians assigned to the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing.
