Iraqi Air Force College

Iraqi Air Force College cadets march to lunch, Sept. 25, cadets are learning subjects like aviation theory, electronic instruments, weather forecasting , English and more at Tikrit Air Base, Iraq. Cadets at the school are studying to become pilots in the Iraqi air force. Ground support officer training is conducted at Taji AB until Tikrit has the infrastructure to support more cadets. The college reopened Sept. 1 when Iraqi air force cadets returned after temporarily operating jointly with the Iraqi army in Ar Rustamiyah since February 2007.
