Tech. Sgt. Sean Nichols, 332nd Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron armory non-commissioned officer in charge, inspects an M-107 long-range sniper rifle Sept. 6, 2010, Joint Base Balad, Iraq. The M-107 is a .50 caliber rifle with attached optics/electro-optics that supports all weather conditions in day or night operations it is armor penetrating and has a maximum range of 7,450 yards.
