Michael Boera, Commanding General, 438th Air Expeditionary Wing, Combined Air Power Transition Force, presents Army Achievement medals to the American crew and U.S. Air Force Achievement medals to the Afghan crew of the C-27 Spartan fixed wing aircraft in recognition of the crews exceptional performance during the first national mission flown to neighboring Pakistan earlier in the year. The medals were presented in a small ceremony on the flight line of the Afghan Air Force base in Kabul on Aug. 29, 2010.
