During a solemn Memorial Day ceremony here May 31, 2010, Airmen from the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing honored servicemembers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the defense of the United States. A wreath to honor the fallen was placed against a Code of Conduct plaque near the base flagpole by 386th AEW senior leaders following a retreat ceremony and prayer of remembrance.
