380th AEW honors American flag each week with wing-wide retreat ceremony

Senior Master Sgt. Mark Miller, first sergeant for the 380th Expeditionary Force Support Squadron, participates with other Airmen from the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing in a retreat ceremony at a non-disclosed base in Southwest Asia on April 2, 2010. Each week, the 380th AEW pays tribute to the American flag and what it stands for by holding the wing-wide ceremony with various units leading the retreat each week. The 380th AEW is home to the KC-10 Extender, U-2 Dragon Lady, E-3 Sentry and RQ-4 Global Hawk aircraft. The wing is comprised of four groups and 12 squadrons and the wing's deployed mission includes air refueling, surveillance and reconnaissance in support of overseas contingency operations in Southwest Asia. The 380th AEW supports operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom and the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. Sergeant Miller is deployed from the 133rd Test Squadron at Fort Dodge, Iowa, which is a geographically-separated unit of the 185th Air Refueling Wing in Sioux City, Iowa. Sergeant Miller's hometown is also Sioux City. (U.S. Air Force Photo/Master Sgt. Scott T. Sturkol/Released)
