Master Sgt. Tisha Gilmore, pictured here March 1, 2010, is the first sergeant for the 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron of the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing at a non-disclosed base in Southwest Asia. As the first sergeant for the 908th EARS, she is responsible for preparing the enlisted to deploy in support of mission requirements. She also advises the commander on a wide range of topics including the health, esprit de corps, discipline, mentoring, well being, career progression, professional development and recognition of all assigned enlisted members in her unit. Sergeant Gilmore is deployed from the 2nd Communications Squadron at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., where she also serves as a unit first sergeant. Her hometown is Alice, Texas.
