Staff Sgt. Samuel Tumey is a vehicle operator for the 380th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron at a non-disclosed base in Southwest Asia. As a vehicle operator, he's required to drive a variety of military and contract vehicles to include tractor-trailers, forklifts, buses, sedans and any other vehicle needed to get the mission completed. He is is deployed from the 146th Airlift Wing of the California Air National Guard's Channel Island Air National Guard Station at Port Hunnemme and his hometown is Bakersfield, Calif.
