376th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Airmen jack up a KC-135 Stratotanker on the flightline at the Transit Center at Manas, Kyrgyzstan, to test the landing gear hydraulics. The tankers here deliver hundreds of thousands of pounds of fuel to coalition combat aircraft over Afghanistan. As the 22nd Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron celebrates the 16,000th sortie milestone, many behind-the-scenes Airmen take pride in knowing their jobs make these flights possible.
