A 376th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Airmen de-ice KC-135 Stratotankers on the flightline at the Transit Center at Manas, Kyrgyzstan. Aerial refueling is a primary mission of the Transit Center, delivering millions of pounds of fuel to combat aircraft over Afghanistan. Manas is equipped to efficiently support expeditionary operations even during inclement weather. As the 22nd Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron celebrates the 16,000th sortie milestone, many behind-the-scenes Airmen take pride in knowing their jobs make these flights possible.
