Air Force EOD trains Iraqi police EOD

FORWARD OPERATING BASE CEDAR, Iraq -- U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Kyle Gnuechtel, explosive ordinance disposal (EOD) technician, 407th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron, observes and advises Iraqi Police EOD technicians as they safely remove a suicide bomber’s vest during a training scenario conducted by the Air Force EOD members here, Nov. 4, 2009. The training was a part of a six week course offered to the Iraqi Police to better help them understand the technicalities of EOD that would further aid in the transition of troops scheduled to withdraw from Iraq in 2011. Airman Gnuechtel is deployed here from Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Tony R. Ritter)
