The new Iraqi Air Force pilots-in-training learn basic fundamentals in navigation, rescue, and egress training. The students are taught by USAF Capt. Wes Alderman, deployed from Moody AFB, Georgia, and Maj. Joey Markusfeld, deployed from Vance AFB, Okla., to the 52nd Expeditionary Flying Training Squadron, Kirkuk Regional Air Base, Iraq.
