Ray Thomas, 376th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief, props open a KC-135 Stratotanker engine cover during a an inspection at the Transit Center, Oct. 23, 2009. Sergeant Thomas directly impacts Operation ENDURING FREEDOM by properly maintaining aircraft so that they may continue air refueling missions over Afghanistan.
