Iraqi air force to receive new AOC

HAWK BASE, Iraq -- Iraqi Air Force Commander Staff Lt. Gen. Anwar dumps the first shovel full of dirt to bury a time capsule as U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Robert Kane, Iraqi Training and Advisory Mission - Air Force director, and Staff Brig. Gen. Wamidh, Iraqi Air Force director of operations look on during the Iraqi Air Operations Center ground breaking ceremony here Sept. 30, 2009. The time capsule contains candid photographs of Iraqi and U.S. AOC personnel and will be buried under the foundation of the new Iraqi AOC.
