BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan -- Major (Rabbi) Joshua Narrowe, reads from the Machzor, which is a special prayer book for the Jewish High Holidays, here Sept. 29, 2009. Rabbi Narrowe, who is temporarily assigned here to the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing's Chaplain's Office, is deployed from the U.S. Air Force Academy and hails from New York City. "It is incredible; being deployed, you are serving people far away from home and giving them a sense of spirituality that they would get back at their home Synagogues.
