BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan -- Air Force Staff Sgt. Kris Michael Aguigui, E Company, 148th Brigade Support Battalion, vehicle maintenance mechanic repairs a mine resistant ambush protected vehicle at Forward Operating Base Lightning, Afghanistan, Sept. 23, 2009. Sergeant Aguigui is on a six month deployment, fulfilling a joint expeditionary tasking by serving with the U.S. Army. There are currently 1,200 JET Airman deployed to more than 40 FOBs and camps throughout Afghanistan.
