Warrior of the Week

BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan -- Staff Sgt. Janelle Gonzalez, assistant noncommissioned officer-in-charge of the nutritional medicine clinic with Joint Task Force MED East/455th Expeditionary Medical Group, is Warrior of the Week. Sergeant Gonzalez researched the diet of local Afghans to ensure their nutritional needs were met while at the patients at the hospital, increasing their caloric intake by 30 percent. Sergeant Gonzalez' positive attitude and genuine concern for her patients makes her the top choice Warrior of the Week, according to her supervisors.
