Eight years later, 9-11 memories vivid for Airmen in Afghanistan

BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan -- A joint service color guard presented the colors at a 9-11 memorial ceremony here, Sept. 11, 2009. The ceremony was held at 5:17 p.m. Kabul time which is the exact time the first plane hit the World Trade Center's Twin Towers eight years ago. Senior Airman Dawn Egbeulu (left), from the 455th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, commented on her feelings of playing such a vital role in the ceremony.
