Commemorating September 11, 2001

BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan -- More than 1,500 Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors and Marines ran 9.11 kilometers in order to commemorate September 11, 2001. The run, which took place starting at 5:30 a.m. local time, was a opportunity to bring servicemembers together to remember the lives lost and to recommit themselves to Operation Enduring Freedom.
