Left, Staff Sgt. Tynesha Branch and Tech. Sgt. Karen Fish, 379th Blood Transshipment Center personnel, prepare blood to be shipped throughout Southwest Asia, Sept. 9. The 379 BTC is the hub for providing blood and blood products to the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, Horn of Africa and Naval ships to ensure these facilities have the blood supply they need. Sergeant Branch is deployed from Langley Air Force Base, Va., and Sergeant Fish is deployed from Davis- Monthan AFB, Ariz. Both are deployed in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom.
