Airmen reign, shine over weather operations in Iraq

CAMP VICTORY, Iraq -- Tech. Sgt. Terry Hutton, weather system support cadre team lead assigned to the Combined Air and Space Operations Center in Southwest Asia, teaches Iraqi air force lieutenants how to turn on and check the battery power status on a TMQ-53 tactical meteorological weather system during a training session here Aug. 16, 2009. This equipment is used to obtain pressure, wind speed and direction, temperature, dew point, relative humidity, precipitation, surface visibility, cloud height and lightning detection. It will enable the Iraqi weather lieutenants to provide current weather data to their leadership in support of their missions throughout Iraq. Sergeant Hutton is deployed from Hurlburt Field, Fla., and is a native of Enid, Okla. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Johnny L. Saldivar)
