Tech. Sgt. Jimmy Counts plays with an infant cancer patient at the Children’s Cancer Center in Kyrgyzstan. Patients at the center range from infants up to 18-year olds. Many of the patients stay at the center for up to two years. They are accompanied by a parent or other adult family member who stays with them. Sergeant Counts, deployed from the 20th Aeromedical Dental Squadron, Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., is one of many airmen who volunteer their time with the Manas Air Base Outreach Society. MABO is a private, non-profit organization that provides charitable donations, goods and/or services to people and organizations in the surrounding areas of Manas Air Base. Anyone wishing to help MABOS by volunteering their time or donating goods can email sean.randall@maab.centaf.af.mil (U.S. Air Force Photo/Staff Sgt. Lisa Host)
