BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan - Staff Sgt. William Maske troubleshot a defective helicopter collective trim switch, replaced and soldered the switch in less than 2 hours. This enabled an combat rescue helicopter mission which saved one Life. Sergeant Maske is a force multiplier and an extremely competent flight line expediter. He oversaw the recovery of two alert helicopters and insured efficient return of them to alert status in minimal time.
