Kuanysh Tineev saw cuts for a clean edge of a freshly dug trench to prepare a new foundation for a security barrier June 26 at Manas Air Base, Kyrgyzstan. Mr. Tineev is a contractor with Sallyport Global Services, he is a part of the 376th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron Heavy Equipment team who work jobs such as concrete pouring and flightline sweeping in order to keep the roads and sidewalks safe. The team’s main purpose here is to keep the flightline cleared for continual refueling, cargo and passenger missions supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech.
