Davran Sadykov, front, and Kuban Sorombaev smooth out freshly poured cement while Alybek Alymkulov cleans away rock debris after they replace a worn sidewalk at Manas Air Base, Kyrgyzstan. The men, who are all from Bishkek, work with the 376th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron Heavy Equipment shop doing jobs such as concrete pouring and flightline sweeping in order to keep the roads and sidewalks safe here. The team’s main purpose at Manas is to keep the flightline roadways clear of debris for continual refueling, cargo and passenger missions supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
