SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Staff Sgt. Lukas Wilber, 586th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron vehicle maintainer, uses an oxyacetylene torch to cut off metal to remove a corroded pin from a truck's braking system at an Army base in Southwest Asia, June 8. Cutting is initiated by heating the edge or leading face of the steel to the ignition temperature then using the separate cutting oxygen valve to release the oxygen from the central jet producing the cut. Sergeant Wilber is deployed from Altus Air Force Base, Okla., and hails from Wellington, Texas. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Senior Airman Courtney Richardson)
