Air Force Major Kimberly "Crusher" Purdon, executive officer for the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing, talks with United States Army personnel about the capabilities and mission of the Patriot Air Missile Defense System during Flightline Fest, May 29, 2009, in an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The 379th Air Expeditionary Wing hosted the half day event which gave base personnel the chance to look at static aircraft displays and other equipment up close, all without interrupting the mission of providing combat airpower throughout the U.S. Central Command's area of responsibility. Major Purdon is native to Lexington, Ky. and is deployed from Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. All personnel are deployed in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Staff Sgt. Joshua Garcia/released)
