Flightline Fest

Staff Sgt. Patrick Ogborn looks on as Staff Sgt. Waldrep supports Senior Airman Mariah Pomoty as she tries her hand at using a fire hose at Flightline Fest, May 29, 2009, in an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The 379th Air Expeditionary Wing hosted the half day event which gave base personnel the chance to look at static aircraft displays and other equipment up close, all without interrupting the mission of providing combat airpower throughout the U.S. Central Command's area of responsibility. Sergeants Ogborn and Waldrep are both firefighters with the 379th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron. Sergeant Ogborn is from Phoenix, Ariz. and is deployed from Dover Air Force Base, Del. Sergeant Waldrep is from Lynchberg, Va. and is deployed from Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. Airman Pomoty, a medic with the 379th Expeditionary Medical Group is from Reno, Nev. and is deployed from the Reno Air National Guard base. All are deployed in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Master Sgt. Brad Fallin/released)
