SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Staff Sgt. Sara Hay, 737th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron medical element, performs a daily check of the semi-automatic defibrillator at an air base in Southwest Asia, May 26. The defibrillator is used to monitor the cardiac activity of patients and, if necessary, it is used to shock them back to life.
