Senior Master Sgt. Carlos Neris, 23rd Expeditionary Special Tactics Squadron, does push-ups for his fallen comrade during the building dedication ceremony for Staff Sgt. Casey Crate at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, May 1. Sergeant Crate was killed in a aircraft crash May 30, 2005, in central Iraq. It is customary for special tactics Airmen to do push-ups for their fellow special operators. The unit performed 10 memorial four-count push-ups, then one for SSgt Casey Crate, one for other fallen comrades, and one for team. Sergeant Neris is deployed from Hurlburt Field, Fla.
