BAGRAM AIR FIELD, Afghanistan -- Tech. Sgt Britt Bare, a 10-time a year golfer, swing his Tiger Woods-signed driver he won in an American Forces Network radio contest conducted throughout the Operation Enduring Freedom theater. “Thanks Tiger, and thank you to America Supports You,” he said in appreciation for his contest winnings, which he said will stay in his family for a while. Tiger Woods and Nike donated autographed clubs and golf gear to servicemembers in Afghanistan, Iraq, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, and aboard the U.S.S. Harry S. Truman. Sergeant Bare, deployed to the 455th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron on Bagram Air Field from Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont., signed a golf ball which will be sent back to the U.S., and used in the tournament.
