A KC-135 Stratotanker wing engine strut housing patiently awaits a new turbofan engine. Maintainers from the 376th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron determined that critical components of the interior of the previous engine were severely degraded and worn out and that an engine change was necessary. Behind the KC-135 sits a C-17 Globemaster III, which will soon carry another load of personnel and cargo into Afghanistan. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Elizabeth Weinberg)
