Police Week

SOUTHWEST ASIA -- First Lt. Gregory DeGruchy, 386th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron office in charge of force protection, places a candle in front of a memorial during a candle light vigil May 13, 2008, at an air base in the Persian Gulf Region. The candle light vigil is a memorial service that is designated to pay homage to law enforcement officers who selflessly gave their lives in the line of duty during the past year including Air Force Office of Special Investigation special agents, security forces 'Defenders' and military working dogs. Airmen 'Defenders' from the 386th ESFS commemorated National Police Week, May 11-17, hosting a series of events to celebrate the memory of their fallen comrades. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Capt.
