Senior Airman Ben Ward, a small computers technician with the 379th Expeditionary Communication Squadron, uses an ohm meter to ensure that the Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) chip is conducting energy, Jan. 15, 2009, in an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The CMOS is a battery that a computer uses to hold information such as the date and time while the computer is off. Airman Ward is a member of the 153rd Air Lift Wing of the Wyoming Air National Guard, his hometown is Cheyenne Wyo. and he is currently deployed in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.(U.S. Air Force Photo by Staff Sgt.
