Powering the Flight While on the Ground

Senior Airman Bryan Hunt, an Aircraft Ground Equipment mechanic with the 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron, inspects the relay switches for an A/M32A-103 Generator Set here, Jan. 10, 2009 in an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. By making sure the relay switches are operating properly Airman Hunt is able to ensure the generator can provide power to the aircraft. The AGE shop owns and maintains over 590 pieces of equipment. Airman Hunt is a native of Ft Mill, S.C. and is deployed from Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
