Staff Sgt. Eric Proctor, 379th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, manually plots a cordon on a base map for a simulated unexploded ordinance discovery, October 31, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. The entry control points are marked varying by the size and type of the ordinance. The ability to manually set up a controlled area must be maintained in case of power or computer failure. Sergeant Proctor is a native of Washington D.C., and is deployed from Schriever Air Force Base, Colo., in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
