QALAT, Afghanistan – Army Maj. Trever Nehls hands a box of crayons to an Afghan boy. The Zabul Provincial Reconstruction Team delivered enough school supplies to fill the bed of a small pick-up truck on behalf of the Westfield Community School in Algonquin, Ill. The donation drive idea as generated by Korry Belin, the school’s principal, after he heard there was a lack of basic school supplies in the Zabul province where his cousin, Major Nehls, PRT civil affairs leader, is deployed from the 451st Civil Affairs Battalion, Pasadena, Texas.
