Joint MRAP training

SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Dave Towery, Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicle Cougar series instructor, and Petty Officers 3rd Class Austin Bolter and Justin Aichele watch as Senior Airman Jeffrey Sandoval, 386th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron, checks the engine oil in an MRAP on Sep. 5 at an air base in Southwest Asia. Mr. Towery instructs on the MRAP Cougar vehicle and teaches the MRAP training course, which is taught in a joint-service environment to simulate real world experiences military members will encounter while deployed to bases in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.
