SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Staff Sgt. Shane Newell from the 380th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron uses a Motor Grader to spread fill material used to build up and stabilize the sub-base prior to placing base course material here Sept. 16. The grader is a precision piece of equipment that can level dirt to a 10th of an inch. ECES is preparing an area for war readiness materials in support of Operation Iraqi and Enduring Freedom.
