CBRNE Airmen stay sharp with incident simulations

JOINT BASE BALAD, Iraq -- Airman 1st Class Jacob John uses a Department of Defense biological sampler kit to test a solution for simulated biological contaminants here Sept. 11. John is a part of a sample team which goes into a possible chemical, biological, radiological nuclear and environmental contaminated area to retrieve samples for identification. John, a member of the 332nd Civil Engineer Squadron Emergency Management Flight, and his office conduct simulation exercises to practice their proficiency at responding to CBRNE incidences.
