9/14/2008 ? SATHER AIR BASE, Iraq ? Master Sgt. Steve Hoenig (left), a fuels specialist assigned to the 447th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron, and crew chief Senior Airman Chris Magee from the 182nd Airlift Squadron at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait fuel a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft at Sather Air Base on the west side of Baghdad International Airport. A dust storm brought visibility down to less than 1,000 meters, but the C-17 was able to take off before conditions deteriorated and stopped air travel around the Baghdad area. Sergeant Hoenig is an Illinois Air National Guard member deployed from the 182nd Airlift Wing in Peoria.
