ALI BASE, Iraq -- Senior Airman George Carameta, 407th Expeditionary Communications Squadron network technician, separates fiber optic wires Sept. 4, 2008. The 407th ECS "Wire Dogs" installed fiber optics inside a new building that the Navy will use. By installing the fiber optics, they are giving telephone and Internet connections to the Navy which enables them to continue their mission during transitions.
