A B-1B Lancer goes full flaps and hits the brakes to stop after completing another combat mission Sep. 2, 2008. The B-1 is deployed from Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., to an undisclosed air base in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom. Carrying the largest payload of both guided and unguided weapons in the Air Force inventory, the multi-mission B-1 is the backbone of America's long-range bomber force.
