732nd ESFS conducts combined patrol

DOURA, IRAQ -- An Iraqi police officer gives instructions to other Iraqi policemen as they prepare to begin a combined patrol Aug. 30 with Airmen from the 732nd Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, Det. 3 here. The combined patrol trained Iraqi police in tactics, techniques and procedures. The 732nd ESFS, Det. 3 is based at Victory Base in Baghdad with more than 150 Joint Source Solution Airmen performing Police Transition Team missions at six Iraqi police stations and one Iraqi police district headquarters in the East and West Rasheed Districts of Baghdad, in addition to manning two 24-hour Joint Security Stations. JSS Airmen are assigned duties outside their normal Air Force specialties to fill in vacant positions that Soldiers cannot support due to the Army's heavy theater operations tempo.
