Small group takes small packages, makes huge impact

Tech. Sgt. Magdalena Winfield, 379th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron, checks Individual First Aid Kits (IFAK) s lot numbers off her list Aug.19, 2008. Sergeant Winfield must verify the lot number of each IFAK against the DD form 1574. She must check individual items inside the IFAKs to ensure they are not nearing their expiration dates. Once the process is complete, the IFAKs are then recirculated with troops Supporting Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
