Ready to respond: CDDAR team springs into action

Airman 1st Class Daniel Breen motions to Airman 1st Class Garry Saari as he backs the Recovery 4 van so it can be connected to a jack trailer Aug. 14, 2008, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. Both Airmen are repair and reclamation journeyman with the 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron. The 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron is responsible for recovering aircraft and clearing the debris of crashed aircraft throughout the U.S. Central Command’s area of responsibility. Airman Breen, a native of Alliance, Neb., is deployed from Grand forks Air Force Base, N.D., and Airman Saari, a native of Las Vegas, Nev., is deployed from Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
